Forever in Love at the Atrium: Capturing the Beautiful Wedding of April and Alex in the Heart of Historic Downtown Wilmington
As a wedding photographer, I've shot at many beautiful venues, but the Atrium in the heart of historic downtown Wilmington truly left me in awe. I had the pleasure of capturing the special day of this lovely couple at this unique venue, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience.
The Atrium is a venue with a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces, surrounded by lush greenery, and a tropical vibe. The venue's ambiance was just perfect for the couple's wedding, which was filled with love, joy, and lots of laughter.
As I entered the venue, I was greeted by 2 large farm tables set elegantly with wild flowers and the stunning tropical greenery as the backdrop. The reception area was decorated with elegant flowers, and the lighting setup created a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The couple's ceremony was held outdoors, where they exchanged their vows in front of a wall of greenery with tropical plants.The mix of natural light and soft lighting added to the romantic ambiance, and I captured some truly breathtaking moments.
The Atrium's indoor space was just as stunning as the outdoor area. The tall glass walls and ceiling allowed natural light to pour in, giving the room an airy and spacious feel. The couple's first dance was held inside the Atrium, and I was able to capture some beautiful images that captured the moment perfectly.
The Atrium's location in the heart of the historic district downtown also provided a picturesque setting for capturing the couple's portraits. We took advantage of the charming cobblestone streets, historic buildings, riverwalk and beautiful architecture to create some truly memorable images.
