Jessica and Kyle
Kyle and I go way back. Like elementary school way back. We both grew up in a small town in the suburbs of Boston and have been friends for almost 20 years. When I saw that he and Jessica had moved to Wilmington I reached out immediately to see if they’d like to get together. I had been living in Denver for the last 6 years and was making my way back to the east coast. As luck would have it, I had a friend waiting for me in town.
When Kyle and Jess asked me to photograph their wedding I was thrilled! Not only did I get to document this exceptional love story, I got to do it at one of my favorite venues in Wilmington, NC: The River Room.
This place is gorgeous. The high ceilings, exposed brick and view of the river way make give it such a unique wedding day. Not to mention you’re in the heart of downtown. We snuck out of the reception around sunset to snap a few portraits on the river way and they did not disappoint!
